About Belinda Theam Law, A Law Corporation

Belinda’s passion for helping injured people was born out of losing her parents at a young age under tragic circumstances.

After practicing personal injury for over a decade at a premier trial law firm, Belinda founded Belinda Theam Law, ALC in order to provide focused representation for injured people and their families in her community.

Prior to founding Belinda Theam Law, ALC, Belinda was a partner at Nguyen Theam Lawyers, LLP (now Nguyen Lawyers, ALC). Belinda second-chaired multiple trials to verdict, helping secure over $62 million in settlements and verdicts, including $10 million for a family who lost their son in a fatal truck crash, $6 million for a young woman with a brain injury from a truck collision and $4 million for a man injured at a construction site.

She was recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America in 2023 and 2024 for Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs.

She was named by the LA Times B2B Publishing as a Top Consumer Attorney of Southern California in 2022 and 2023. Out of 68 attorneys named in 2023, she was one of just 13 women. Out of 70 attorneys named in 2022, she was one of 10 women.

She was selected by her peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

She was awarded a Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association’s “AAPI Leader, Trailblazer in the Community” Award in 2023.

She was selected as a Woman of Distinction by California State Assembly member for the 70th District, Patrick O’Donnell in 2019 for having made a significant contribution and meaningful impact in the community and recognized her along with other honorees in her hometown of Long Beach.

In addition to these recognitions, she has also been published in the Advocate Magazine, the largest magazine in the U.S. for plaintiffs’ trial attorneys and served as Chair of Education for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the largest local trial bar in the country.

She currently serves as a Board Member for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, a Board Member Emeritus for the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities and a Board Member for the United Cambodian Community.

Belinda is the daughter of Cambodian-American immigrants and speaks Khmer. She has served as a community liaison for the U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, William Heidt.
